To The Rescue Blanket

Well I certainly felt like being rescued yesterday. Everything I touched just did not work out in my favor. And since I happened to be making this blanket, it got um, altered as I went along. The flannel "To The Rescue" fabric is the left over from the flannel pants I made HERE for Emmett. I bought minky to match for the back and for the additional panels on the front. It turned out to be a lot of minky, as I had intended it to go another way, but it actually works out allright cause it is super heavy, and the Bubb really likes to sleep with some weight on him. Roughly 2 yards of fabric in all and I absolutely love the little scooters that are in the fabric. (perhaps possible stencil project in the future?)
