ABOUT ME
Hi! and welcome to my blog. I love all things crafty, whether it be sewing, paper crafts, decorating, etc., and this is my way of keeping track of the things that I create and the things that inspire me. I am a mom to my little man, Emmett, also known as Sir Bubbadoo (or some form there of, often called The Bubb, Sir, or Bubbington), and a wife to a wonderful and extremely patient husband; thus this blog also serves to share the latest adventures in being a family of three.
I decided that I needed to learn to sew after I became pregnant and ended up falling in love with it. Fabric is the one word that probably best sums up why I enjoy it so much. I have never used a pattern and prefer to wing-it as I go along, which tends to create an interesting adventure. I am always working on something, have hundreds of to-do lists, and try my best to finish one project before I start another. And I swear that at some point our kitchen table will be used to actually eat off again!
Thanks for stopping by!
Kristina

A friend posted your amazing freezer paper stenciling tutorial on pinterest, thank you for writing it! When I saw your little shark he made me smile- my son Finn (who is now 12 and a good little basketball player and all around normal) did not walk until he was almost 15 months old. It was crazy! I was pregnant for the second time and thinking- come on buddy, I need you to be on two feet. He used a little cart and could go up and down stairs with it. When we were going in for his 15 month appointment I did not want to deal with the dr giving me any grief about it (he was kind of an ass- switched right after) so I put him on the other side of the room and told him he needed to walk to me- and he did! Within 2 minutes he was RUNNING around the house. It was a crack up!
ReplyDeleteSo, don't stress- it is not like he ISN'T going to walk, but- I understand the need you have for him to just do it.
Thanks for your blog!
Carolyn
Thanks you from the bottom of my heart for your SNAP tutorial. Yesterday I was believing I was an idiot for not being able to install a snap....today, not so much! This was very helpful. I re-posted it on my blog so that others could benefit from our trials and tribulations.
ReplyDeleteThanks again!!
Your freezer paper stencil tutorial is so cool. I am using it to make onesies and tshirt logos! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteI have just spent several hours looking through all your posts and tutorials (and I can't stop, I'm sure to be up half the night). I think you are really wonderful and your creations are beautiful and finally clicked on your "about me" tab. Now I am amazed to see that sir Bubbadoo is really Emmett, and isn't that beautiful since I just gave birth to my Emmett in June.
ReplyDeleteKeep creating and inspiring!
